# Contxt

> Contxt is intelligent museum software that securely connects collection management, curatorial content and publishing surfaces with automated workflows — making everything from data maintenance to storytelling the easiest it has ever been. Museums sit on millions of data points no one has the budget to maintain; with Contxt, the archive maintains itself.

Contxt uses intelligent workflows to import information, close data gaps, maintain data quality, and connect objects and entities with work documents and curatorial content. Workflows are built on public standards and processes or customized to your own requirements, are transparent to monitor, and always offer total recall — so every change is logged and revertable. Agents research, connect and correct; a member of staff approves every edit.

Contxt is built by Lore Labs AG, founded in 2026 by Lukas Amacher and David Simon. Its core values are transparency, openness and consistency. The core Collection, Curatorial and Publishing modules are available as open source (MIT); hosted and serviced plans add the agentic workflows. The application and database are hosted in Switzerland, operated by Lore Labs AG under the Swiss FADP and the GDPR — or on your own hardware.
